Espresso, fine teas and decadent pastries…..
Starting May 5th 2018 come visit us at the Rochester Farmers Market every Saturday in the East Parking lot at our bespoke Coffee Cart.
A never-ending love affair with good coffee, good food and adventure finally led me to Rochester, MN. After many years in the corporate niche, I found myself with time on my hands and a long standing desire to open my own Café.
Going down the route of a bricks and mortar store proved difficult, with a lack of reasonable real estate in the neighborhoods surrounding Downtown. This led me to finding an alternative, and Le Petit Café ‘mobile’ was born.
With some TLC, and a lot of supervision with power tools, my cart was ready to go by June 2017. We are located at the downtown market East Parking Lot, but as new locations get added, I will update our Find Us page.
Located just north of town, Brian and I have a quaint hobby farm. Our eclectic brood consists of Ducks, Chickens, Goats (Dervla, Cáis, Lou, Oscar, Dear, Diva, Beep, Bub, Bán, Star, Cocoa, Chino & Gangly), Lambs (Ebony & Ivory), Peacock, many many quail and of course our hard working bees, and chief guard dog Toby the Dachshund. We also welcome Doc Holiday to the fold this year – our energetic Cowboy Corgi.
We are blessed with Maple trees, Raspberry patches, growing orchards and perfect soil. We will highlight and champion as many of these resources as we can at Le Petit Café.
Well a lot did go wrong and we adapted on the go to much of it!
Perseverance and tenacity ensured we turned up every week to Winter market and dolled out hot coffee to our steadfast crew.
We are eager to get ready again for Summer market 2018 and all the fabulous events we are privileged to be part of.
Roll on the sunshine 🙂
When I consider everything that can go wrong, and has, I wonder at the logic of proceeding. However with each day I get lists compiled and checked off, I feel calmer. No matter what happens it is guaranteed to be another adventure, and sure its all about the story!
I look forward to seeing you very soon,
Le Petit Café
